Saturday June 13th 2009 we are going to Catalina again.
This will be our 3rd trip and the last 2 were most excellent.
We will have a meeting on the grassy knolls of Descanso beach and play miniature golf on the best course around.
Enjoy a boat ride and a day in the sun with friends.

You will be responsible for your own tickets to ride the boat to and from the island and the cost is around $65.00 per person round trip. We will meet at the hall in the am and carpool over to long beach to Catalina express.

The Catalina Landing at Downtown Long Beach is located in the heart of the city, along the waterfront beside the Pike and the Aquarium of the Pacific. The port is easily accessible from Los Angeles, Orange County or San Diego.
ATM machines are available at all locations and Visa, MasterCard and American Express are welcome.

$14.00 daily max per 24 hrs. Cash, Visa and MasterCard accepted. Parking operated by:

All schedules, fares and taxes are subject to change in accordance with the California Public Utilities Commission, including a fuel surcharge. Round trip fares include $4.00 Island wharfage fee.
Reservations

Advance reservations are highly recommended as our departure times often sell out. Tickets may be purchased the day of departure, based on availability.
Purchasing Tickets
· Passengers with advance reservations will be given a reservation number. Please present this number to the agent at the ticket window.
· Passengers can pay for their tickets in the forms of cash, Traveler’s Checks, Visa, MasterCard or American Express with a valid photo ID that matches the name on the credit card.
· Passengers without advance reservations may purchase tickets on the day of departure, subject to availability.

Downtown Landing/Avalon trips are approximately 1 hour.
Passengers may cancel their reservation without obligation, provided they contact Catalina Express at least 24 hours prior to departure and obtain a cancellation number. Passengers who do not show up on the day of travel will be charged the full amount of the round-trip fare.
