The weekend is here

The weekend is finally here and its gonna be a busy one. I have meetings today and a panel in Canoga park tomorrow at 6:30 am ouch. That is way to early on my days off to get up and if it wasn't for the fact that i have an opportunity to give back so freely what was given to me id sleep in and blow it off. GOD i hope i don't turn off my alarm off and miss it. That would be horrible since I'm the panel chair. Yay its raining outside. I am grateful for my life, my family and my friends but most of all to a GOD who gave me life and the opportunity to amend my ways and start a new.

Cell phone call into the womb

If you could have a conversation with an unborn child what would you tell them about the world there about to enter? They have no experience to relate anything to. they cant relate to anything you are telling them. They don't understand the world they are about to enter. I have been here 45 years and i still don't understand this world or the people in it. The newborn has no fears, no anxieties, no worries. They only know what instinct tells them. I am hungry, I am unconvertible,
I am cold, But they are not afraid. As we grow we become afraid of more and more.Fear mongers Churches, Rich people with hidden agendas, People who want to control us. Husbands, Wives, family, Bosses, The unknown frightens us, like death, Supernatural things we cant explain. I have spent almost all of my life being afraid of lots of things. Being afraid of the past repeating or the future not being what i want or think i need. Today i am trusting in GOD because he is capable of all this great and small. I would tell that newborn about GOD and how he is in controll and eventually he/she would grow to understand what i have told him/her

Unless they leave comments i start thinking Im basically just blogging to myself. Oh well good practice i guess. Last night at work was warm and i got to leave my jacket off. i work graveyard on a golf course and its usually vary cold so what a treat. It wont be long b4 i am complaining its too hot. On the bright side theres always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I wish you

I wish you friends like i have. Friends that don't want anything from you except your friendship and to see you happy. Friends that are true and will tell you the truth even when you don't want to hear it. Friends that will actually show up on moving day. I spent the day with friends that i call family we played games, laughed and ate. i didn't even know how lonely i was till i had friends like these. I wish you all everything good i would want for myself and then some. May your GOD, Friend and Family be the bright spots in your life. Todays experiences are tomorrow's memories make them count. Remember tomorrow is not promised to any one so all we really have is this very moment.

Quit smoking

I was a 2 pack a day smoker for 33 years. My kids were telling me to quit and both of them had stopped smoking months b4. I would use the excuse you guys haven't smoked for 33 years and its so hard. I really wanted to quit and tried several times with no luck. Every night i would go to bed and say ok tomorrow I'm not gonna smoke and the 1st thing i did when i work up was light a smoke. One day i got a script for chantix and it was so easy. i haven't had a smoke in 54 days now with no cravings and feeling great. I did the chantix for one month and towards the end i was having trouble sleeping and some real weird vivid dreams but to not smoke it was worth it. i have been off the chantix now for like 24 days. I can smell and taste again and my lungs feel better.
Next is to start exercising and eating better but one thing at a time.

Future Days Ahead

Our water supply is contaminated and our food is poisoned. Bird flu mad cow and all the bees have died. Our grains and crops are failing due to death of the bees and climate changes. Global warming has caused the waters to rise and our inland cities are now under 4 feet of water. The oil refineries are submerged so making gas is out of the question. Riots have started and lewding has begun for food and anything of value. The president has declared marshal law and the National Guard is tiring to control the population. Yesterdays dream (Mad Max) is tomorrow's reality.
