American Airlines Now Charging Fees To Non-Passengers

FORT WORTH, TX—Cash-strapped American Airlines announced a new series of fees this week that will apply to all customers not currently flying, scheduled to fly, or even thinking about flying aboard the commercial carrier.

American Airlines has promised never to raise its fees for not printing a boarding pass.

The fees, the latest introduced by American Airlines in a continuing effort to combat its financial woes, will take effect on Monday. According to company officials, these charges will include a $25 tax on citizens traveling with any other airline, as well as a mandatory $30 surcharge for passengers who decide to just stay home for the holidays instead.

"Tough times unfortunately mean tough measures," American Airlines president Gerard Arpey said. "It's never an easy decision to ask our loyal customers, as well as thousands of people chosen at random out of a telephone book, to pay a little extra, but that's just the reality of today's economic climate. We hope all Americans will understand this when receiving one of our new bills in the mail. SEND ME A BILL AND THiS WHAT YOU'LL GET BACK IN IT.

Me and Paris Hilton

Halloween night working a gated community where all the stars live. There was a huge haunted house with about 2000 guests. 3 other parties as well. Paris was hosting one of them and gave late notice. The HOA president clipped her guest list to 60 from 300 she had already invited due to over crowed community. Paris was in tears and the HOA president apologized for having to cap the number of peeps. Later on around 10pm the president told me to go to Miss Hilton's and allow her her full guest list due to the event winding down and people starting to leave. I asked her body guard to get her and she came out to talk to me and another officer that was with me. I gave her the good news and she jumped up in my arms and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I met Charlie Sheen, Vanna White, David and Victoria Becham, and Justin Timberlake. I worked 16 hrs that night but had fun. I am sore from all the walking but I will recover.

Spiritual Questions

There are some answers we will prob never know. Spiritual questions need spiritual answers. This doesn't mean I will stop seeking these answers but at some point I have to come to the reality and acceptance of the fact I just might never get those answers and that they belong to GOD. If he wants me to know then I will. One of the biggest questions for me is why does one person receive grace and seemingly some do not?
Did they have it and just not see it or did they just not want it? I know that I have been granted grace and its a gift I do not take lightly. A person can't get from where i was (trapped in a selfish and self centered delusion)to where I am now, with out a Kind And very powerful loving GOD. I stand a free man from a seemingly hopeless state of mind of body. GOD has restored me to sanity.

Been A while

I haven't been blogging much lately but life is in session and going well. Work is fantastic. I love my job. My company is awesome and i got a 250.00 bonus this week.
It has been a while since i could say that i love going to work. I have never got a bonus. I usually get someone telling me we used to get bonus or we used to have this or that. I am getting ready to meet the boys for dinner b4 the Mens stag. I talked to Don T. My old sponsor that moved away. If i ever get some time and money I will go visit him in Louisiana and fish in his back yard. ALL IN ALL LIFE IS GOOD.

Havent bloged in a while I should be sleeping

Have to be in Marina Del Rey at 8am for a million dollar sales presentation with the board of directors and H.O.A. members. Its 5 am and haven't been to sleep yet I lay in bed for hours but cant fall asleep. Can any one say Starbucks. I have the rest of today and tomorrow off so I will catch up on sleep later. Gonna go to the movies with Dan after meeting this morning maybe I can get a few winks in there lol.

Earthquakes in calif

It seems i am always being work up by some dumb ass, Gardener's, Mail men, ups, Construction workers, you name it and they wake me up oh don't forget the spam callers on the telephone even with being on the do not call list. 1`st today it was the earthquake then the gardeners or Moe blow and go as i like to call them and the construction workers next.Yeesh. Being a day sleeper is not easy. I am gonna go ear plugs dark mask to block out the world. The earthquakes don't bother me so much any more since i have been thou a lot of them. Waking up to violent shaking is not pleasant but today's was mild. Enough of my bitching life is really good. Work is great. My Kids are super.We have been going to the movies a lot which i really enjoy.

A little under the weather

I celebrated 8 yrs sober June 2nd. I have a wonderfully family, Great friends, Great job, Money is good and bills are caught up. I just bought a new Cannon 8 mp camera. Things are great and still i feel shitty. 4 days of depression today is day 6 and i am just now starting to feel better. I have had days where i dint feel good but not a whole week. I got some writing and praying to do as well as my daily meditation. All of those areas have been lacking. I have called my sponsor more this week than in 8 yrs lol.

Busy Weekend

The Catalina trip is this Saturday and The Burbank Group picnic is this Sunday. Monday I turn 8 and going to take a cake on Friday @ the 8pm meeting since I have to work on Thursday :( Oh well can't have it all.

When the bottom falls out

Yesterday was an extremely busy day everything that could;d go wrong did.I had to meet 3 officers for a party at a very exclusive country club in bentwood and only showed. 2 were lost and I managed to give one directions and he finally showed after 2 hrs. The other said f it and went home, so I had to go to Manchester and Normandy in LA. to pick another officer up to work this event. Bullets are flying and so are the cops and ambulances. I finally got that all smoothed out and was off to go close down what was supposed to be a small b-day party at one of our gated community's in Valencia and there were 200 under age kids drinking and blasting music in the pool area. They were charging admission and people were still arriving. I had to call Santa Clarita Sheriff's
to get this one handled and was assaulted by a smoking hott female. Lets just say she put her hands on me inappropriately With the vice president of the HOA board standing next to me. I didn't arrest her but sure did want to. I wont tell you where my mind went use your own imagination. She was buzzed and if i had arrested her the crowd would have got worse. I finally got every one out and then the sheriff's arrived lol. I was supposed to meet up with a friend for dinner at midnight and was going to make it till my work phone went ding a ling a ling :( Its 15 to 12 and I'm back in Burbank and an officer was locked out of an account in beach area of Santa Monica. I finally got back and done by 1:30 am hadn't eaten dinner so pops and I went to Coral and ate.
I earned my money this day.

You get your e-mail and IM; you can listen to music from the microSD card or buy some more. Calls are above-average quality (trust us, we've been shouting into an iPhone for the last year). In addition to 2-megapixel shots and recording video, it can also video share -- send live video to other 3-G AT&T users, which is great for broadcasting scenes from your DIY fight club or natural disasters.

But the star of the show is the GPS. This is no cell-tower GPS Lite that only tells you what block you're on; this is the real deal, with turn-by-turn directions, live traffic info, access to the AT&T database for points of interest -- you know, stuff that's actually useful. If you don't want to punch in an address, just call the 877 number and speak it. On the downside, you will visibly age while it initializes, and it sometimes miscalculates your direction. Fortunately, goofs are few and far between and the Z9 picks up on them.
WIRED: Excellent call quality. Strong GPS capabilities. Lets you transmit (or receive) live video to other 3-G AT&T phones. Haptic feedback tickles.

IRON MAN MOVIE REVIEW NO SPOILER

I went to see Iron Man with my son at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on Friday. The show was sold out and was deff worth the money. Iron Man Aka Tony Stark aka Robert Downey Jr. Is the perfect actor for the part. The Dude Jeff Bridges plays Obadiah Stane / Iron Monger is bald lmao but does a great job. Terrence Howard plays Jim Rhodes a military man and friend of Tony Stark and Gwyneth Paltrow plays Virginia 'Pepper' Potts Tony's right hand man. OK Person she is deff not a man baby. The CGI is incredible . I never read comic books as a kid so I'm glad I get to experience them on the big screen. A must see this summer. At the end of the day I give IRON MAN 2 big toes WAY UP and a pinkie toe in to boot.

2:30 am and cant sleep

I got to be at work at 7am and I'm wide awake but at 6am I'll be tired as hell wishing I could go to sleep. I love my new job so I will make it through the day and starting next week I go to all swing shift, So no more early weekend shifts for me. Hooray! J my middle boy turned 20 Thursday and my oldest SP, will be 23 on may 12Th and my youngest David will be 12 on may 13Th. My Boys are my world and have grown up into fine young men. I am a lucky man. My dad got his new computer. It is a dell with 2 gigs mem and 667 MHz 250 gig hard drive and a duel core motherboard. I lost my face plate to my car stereo. :( I paid 208 dollars for a damn speeding ticket and traffic school today. I seem to be hemorrhaging money lately. To continuing receiving this blog please send 1 no 2 dollars to me. Hell make it $10.00 Well it doesn't hurt to try. lol Thank GOD he gave me a job to be able to afford life's ups and downs. Movie Review August Rush (SPOILER ALERT)

Freddie Highmore Plays Evan Taylor AKA August Rush. Evan grows up in a foster home and is waiting for his parents to find him. Evan is a gifted young boy who can hear music all around him. His parents are musicians as well. His mom Lyla Novacek played by Keri Russell. is a cello player from Juilliard. Evans Dad Louis Connelly played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers who plays guitar and is the lead singer in a family band with his brother doesn't even know he has a son. Even wanders out into the world and gets lost but is found by Maxwell 'Wizard' Wallace played by Robin Williams
who's is a scam artist and has kids working for him peddling for money. Richard Jeffries played by Terrence Howard a social worker who cares and is looking to find Evan meets Lyla when she comes in to find her son who was put up for adoption by her dad and was told he baby died. Evan plays music in the park for money where he meets and jams on guitar with his dad. In the end they all meet up at a concert in the park that Evan has written and the philharmonic is playing. This film is very touching and heartwarming. At the end of the day i give this film two big toes way up and a pinky toe as well.

Into The Wild. Written,Produced and Directed by Sean Penn. A young man graduates collage but doesn't want to live by society's rules. Emile Hirsch Plays Chris McCandless.
Marcia Gay Harden plays Chris's mom and William Hurt plays Chris's dad. Vince Vaughn and Hal Holbrook are a few other friends Chris meets along the journey in the film. Chris has a dream of living wild. Live off the land hunt and fish with no city, no stores. Chris leaves home and meets some good people along the way to his dream of living in Alaska. Chris learns some valuable lessons along the way. The cinematography is brilliant and the story is even better

Life is good

I played poker for the 1st time in a year and remembered why I stopped playing. My job is going super well and i got the opportunity to help my dad get a new dell computer. I spent some time with one of my boys while the other was working. It would have been nice to have both of the them hang out. I will take what I can get since we all have busy schedules. My boys are awesome young men and i am very proud of them. Catalina is getting closer and the BBG picnic is the day after that so I'm really looking forward to both of those events. All 3 of my boys birthdays are coming up April 24Th may 12Th and may 13Th. I have not spoken to my youngest son since his mom got him back so its time to pressure the social worker to get a phone number. Today I have Grace Thanks to a very kind, powerful and loving GOD.

NEUROTIC AND LOUD NOISES

I have always been sensitive to noises especially loud noises. Needless to say they are doing repairs to our apt. bldg. Right now they are sand blasting and they started at 8am. Most people are at work and would come home to peace and quit and a little more work done but I work swing so I sleep later than most. Sandblasting is extremely loud and you cant even hear the TV. I have headphones in and can barley hear them. Thank GOD for Frosty Heidi and Frank. 97.1 free fm is always good for laughs. My 1st thought today was to go cut there hose so they cant work but instead i called a friend and went to breakfast. The headphones are working somewhat but i want to go back to sleep. I drive all night and lack of sleep is dangerous. The up side to this is the owner is putting everything new in our apts, dishwashers, new drywall, paint, carpet, kitchen bathrooms,ceiling fans,central air. The benefits out way the inconvenience of having to move into a new remodeled apt and putting up with the noise. Ho HUM.

A week in reflection

It has been a good week. There were a few snags along the way like getting a speeding ticket and a parking ticket in the the company car and all in the same week. I had a officer walk off post but not before disrespecting me and turning it into a race
thing . I don't know what his problem was but it seemed to me he brought it from home. Safe to say he wont be employed with us any more. I spent the week learning where all the accounts are and getting to know my officers. I visited about 40 officers or more and only one bad apple so over all it has been a positive week. My training officer and another field inspector in training and I all clicked well. We got today off with pay and have an 8 hour training seminar at 9am tomorrow. Tuesday I will be turned loose on my own and looking forward to it. I'm not real familiar with downtown la or bentwood area but ill pick it up. Peace and Love to all.

Movie Review The Hammer

The Hammer is Adam Corolla's latest venture. I went to see it this weekend and I really liked it. It is an independent film about Friendship,Loyalty,Going after your dream and of course love. Adam Plays Jerry Fero a 40 year old who used to be a golden glove and promising boxer. Jerry gave up his dream and bounced from job to job with his buddy Oswaldo Sanchez. Jerry also teaches boxing classes to make some extra cash. Jerry meets 2 people in the gym who will change his life forever. Adam used his own money and did a great job on the film. A Feel good and must see film. A huge success for the independent film world. The film is funny and full of life. At the end of the day I give it two BIG TOWS up.

Day 2 of new job

Well today is day 2 of training on my new job. Day one was going great. First my co worker left his notebook on the hood of the car and it blew off as soon as we got some speed up and had to stop and pick up papers in the middle of the street. Later on that evening the three of us( MY supervisor another trainee and I)got pulled over by the Highway Patrol on the 5 freeway in Valencia. The officer said I was doing 80 which is BS. Of course I had to be the one driving its Murphy's law. I was doing 70 and had just looked at my speedo but 70 in still 5 miles over the limit so I admit I was speeding but damn it I was not doing 80. 70 or 80 still doesn't matter its still a ticket. We all had a good laugh at my expense. The rest of the night was good and no more incidents. The other trainee is driving today so I got a one day reprieve. I hope Murphy is asleep tonight.

Genesis was launched by Bigelow Aerospace as a test to see if inflatable satellites can be orbited and eventually connected together to create a sprawling space hotel. Great Day

I got up and took my old uniforms in and signed out of my old job. I was supposed to start my new job today but things on there end got fowled up and I will start on wed.
Two more days off and I am not complaining. It looks like my schedule will be Wednesday to Sunday but who knows. I vacuumed the Apt. and took my dad to lunch. I ran the 6pm for Big Joe. After the 6 pm I took my dad to dinner @ Red Lobster in Monrovia. The food was excellent.
I had a gift card a friend gave me so we had and expensive meal for half the price and loved every minute of it. My eyes are closing as I type so I am off to bed.
When you do the right thing you get the right results and what is supposed to be will be with or with out me.

Never made it fishing, 21 movie review & Astro Burgers

Went to see the movie 21 and tripped around Hollywierd. We ate at Astro burger on Santa Monica Blvd, watched the hookers (tranies) and walked all around Hollywood and Highland. I love the hamburgers and pastrami sandwiches at Astro. Click the link to read a review of the place. Man a lot of pot smoking going on in the streets of Hollywood and the cops are oblivious to it or really don't care. The movie was good and Kate Bosworth is a cutie and Kevin Spacey is always ausome. Jim Sturgess is the kid that plays Ben Campbell and is very talented and believable in the movie . By the time we got back from the movie it was 2 am and we were all tired so next time we will go fishing.

Fishing all night @ Redondo pier

Going fishing with sp, and J.tonight. We used to go every Friday but with all our schedules it has been most difficult. First we are going to see the new movie 21 and then its off to Redondo Pier to stay out all night and play. I love hanging with my boys. I have 3 days off till I start my new job. Monday at 3pm my new life begins. I will be able to live more comfortable and pay off my satin card. Before when I was at this level I was able to save money and help my dad out and I haven't been able to do either which really sucked.

Right VS Wrong Vs My Word

Since getting sober in 200o I cant seem to do the wrong thing purposely. I know this is a good thing but like this Friday is my last day and I have a lot of things I need to do before starting this new job on Monday like a hair cut, Have my old uniforms dry cleaned yada yada yada. I have fought with my mind to just call off a couple days early so they can get someone to cover my shift but for the life of me cant seem to make thew call. My brain says no you told them you would work till Friday, or we need the money. on the smart side of my brain it says we have a lot to do and we don't have time to get things done.
I got up today and prayed and then made the call to take the day off. Phew ,Deep breath,sigh. Now that wasn't so hard. The thought life is harder than actually taking the action. My mind can make a mountain out of a mole hill.

The ways of this world suck

My life is better than it has ever been because i am better than i have ever been.
With that said and if i am truly honest with self, I really hate this world and despise a vast number of people in it. I am not judging but i do have discernment given to me by my creator. I am not perfect and have done a lot of things that my GOD is less than proud of me for. I don't like what i see. Poverty and the rich getting richer and taking advantage of the poor and needy. Save the whales but don't feed or shelter the homeless. Dolphin free nets but our men and woman coming back from war are forgotten
and have to fight to get medical care when they return from doing what our government has asked them to do and are doing a great job. Lets see our education system is so far behind but lets save a blue butterfly. Health care is out of control and they want to take away your right to bear arms to protect yourself and your family. My feet haven't even hit the floor yet and my head is off and running so its time to hit the floor and do some prayer and meditation. Then i get to remember i have grace and this world is not mine to manage and i am a servant not a master. I ask GOD what i can do for him and his children today? How and where can i be of service? I ask him to take away my difficulties so that victory over them bears witness to his power and glory. Please divorce me from my selfish and self centered condition. Divorce me from self pity and anything that is blocking me from being usefully to you or your children. A few deep breaths and the weight of the world is lifted off my shoulder and back where it belongs on GOD"S shoulder. i have found serenity and strength in my GOD and i can now go forth to do his bidding as i think he would have me do to the best of my ability. I have feet of clay and fall short and GOD loves me anyway.
I am truly blessed and every day above ground is a good day.

Obama vs Mcain

I really have the feeling that Obama will beat Mcain in the 2008 elections and Clinton will be vice pres. I also believe that some whacked out people will try to do harm to Obama if he is elected and if successful Clinton would then step up as president. I hope this doesn't happen but this is the vibe I'm picking up on. I hate politics and know very little about it but i do know that this is history in the making. A woman And a black man both running for president for the 1st time and at the same time. How cool is that?

Paul McCartney Divorce and pre nups

I have been through 2 divorces and i can say there not fun. I never had anything worth protecting. Paul McCartney worth is in the 250 mill area and for him not to protect his ass ets was very stupid on his part. He is getting off lucky. I don't believe heather mills deserves the money she is getting and for her to complain about getting just shy of 48 mill for doing nothing speaks volumes to her character. Heather did nothing to earn that money and is lucky to get what the judge has decided. Paul's responsibility is to his child and 48 mill to raise a child is more than enough.
This is just another piece of evidence that you cant serve God And mammon. Money and fame doesn't buy happiness in fact it just the opposite. Happiness is an inside job and if you understand that then money can enhance what you all ready have if you don't lose sight and get caught up in power and pomp. Ego serves self but humility serves GOD. Even with this mess Sir Paul Seems happy in public but who knows when he is alone.

The job has more responsibility and a lot more money. I have the experience and to be posted at a place where i am not using my talents and no room for advancement is just a waste of time. I have learned that i have to take the action and step out of my comfort zone but sometimes fear gets in the way and until i pray and meditate about it i wont take the necessary action till I'm frustrated or in pain. This time i didn't have to sit long b4 i moved on so i am getting better at it each time i practice the principals. GOD BLESS TO YOU ALL.

Stole pictures of my kids from there my space

My oldest dosn't like taking pictures, So i asked him last night for some becuase all the ones i have are back in the day. (That was a wednesay if case didn't know.)Justin likes to ham it up for the camera. SP says to me he cant rember the last time he took some new pictures and i thought to myself yeah it will be forver till i get some new pics of them. I went to both of there myspaces and stole some.
