Life in these times

I am so blessed to be alive sober and have a great job that I love doing and good at. I spent my whole life trying to fit in to areas I didn't belong in and really didn't fit. Life was a constant struggle and seemed pointless. I got to lead a meeting in atwater today with some friends and then took pops out for his 70th birthday lunch.
I have my meeting tonight and then my sons and dad and I are going out for dinner. I am getting excited one month from now we are going to vegans to celebrate my son Justin's 21st birthday. Sp will be 24 on may 12th and David Jr. will be 13 on may 13th. Live every day like its your last cause one day it will be. My memories are one of the greatest gifts GOD has given to me.

Starbucks, A friend and a green tea frapp.

A friend and i were having a convo about teas, drinks and Starbucks. My friend suggested that i try a green tea frapp. Tonight i ordered one and took a sip hmm i thought to my self. The next thought was i am a goat in a meadow grazing on fresh cut grass. Now at this point is where most people would stop drinking it and toss it away but not me hmmm again I thought that was weird and very different. I took another sip and got the same reaction as the 1st time i tried it. I said to my self this is horrible but being green tea it must be good for me right? I drank some more. Now at this point i said to myself, self you must be crazy you know it is horrible but you keep drinking it. Needless to say i finished it, scratched my head and chalked it up to experience to never listen to a friend again. Ummm no. Drink Starbucks green tea frapps. If you like grazing in fields then its all you kid.

Catalina trip 2009

Saturday June 13th 2009 we are going to Catalina again.
This will be our 3rd trip and the last 2 were most excellent.
We will have a meeting on the grassy knolls of Descanso beach and play miniature golf on the best course around.
Enjoy a boat ride and a day in the sun with friends.

Guess i should have paid attn to the fact the intersection i cross almost daily had a red light camera $$$$$$$$$$$. I just got the test results in the male and yes im the father of a big fat red light ticket. You know instantly when all the paparazzi flash bulbs go off in your face. Pop Flash snap. Wow great pic of me and no way to claim its not me its my twin brother since i am an only child. $435.00 an a point on my drivers license since i already went to traffic school within the last 18 months arghhhh.
They sent me a pic i think ill send them one back.

Its been awhile

If you ever wondered whats on the back of Mt. Rushmore well wonder no more.
I haven't blogged much as of late well truthfully not at all. With face book and work yes i said face book. I am addicted to mafia wars and mob wars and now I'm hooked on yo ville arghhhhh. I played poker last night and walked away with 175.00 after a 50.00 buy in so i made 125.00. The Best hand of the night was against my buddy Josh. I had pocket aces and he had pocket kings. We got all the money in pre flop and no king or straight hit so i won a big pot. It was one of those nights where i couldn't do anything wrong. Clint took a good pot off me but i figured out what was going on and saved myself some money on that hand. All in all it was a great night. My oldest boy SP and Dad and i went to corral and had breakfast and called it a night. I am off to go see a movie and eat chipotle with my other son Justin. FORT WORTH, TX—Cash-strapped American Airlines announced a new series of fees this week that will apply to all customers not currently flying, scheduled to fly, or even thinking about flying aboard the commercial carrier.

American Airlines has promised never to raise its fees for not printing a boarding pass.

The fees, the latest introduced by American Airlines in a continuing effort to combat its financial woes, will take effect on Monday. According to company officials, these charges will include a $25 tax on citizens traveling with any other airline, as well as a mandatory $30 surcharge for passengers who decide to just stay home for the holidays instead.

"Tough times unfortunately mean tough measures," American Airlines president Gerard Arpey said. "It's never an easy decision to ask our loyal customers, as well as thousands of people chosen at random out of a telephone book, to pay a little extra, but that's just the reality of today's economic climate. We hope all Americans will understand this when receiving one of our new bills in the mail. SEND ME A BILL AND THiS WHAT YOU'LL GET BACK IN IT.

Me and Paris Hilton

Halloween night working a gated community where all the stars live. There was a huge haunted house with about 2000 guests. 3 other parties as well. Paris was hosting one of them and gave late notice. The HOA president clipped her guest list to 60 from 300 she had already invited due to over crowed community. Paris was in tears and the HOA president apologized for having to cap the number of peeps. Later on around 10pm the president told me to go to Miss Hilton's and allow her her full guest list due to the event winding down and people starting to leave. I asked her body guard to get her and she came out to talk to me and another officer that was with me. I gave her the good news and she jumped up in my arms and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I met Charlie Sheen, Vanna White, David and Victoria Becham, and Justin Timberlake. I worked 16 hrs that night but had fun. I am sore from all the walking but I will recover.

Spiritual Questions

There are some answers we will prob never know. Spiritual questions need spiritual answers. This doesn't mean I will stop seeking these answers but at some point I have to come to the reality and acceptance of the fact I just might never get those answers and that they belong to GOD. If he wants me to know then I will. One of the biggest questions for me is why does one person receive grace and seemingly some do not?
Did they have it and just not see it or did they just not want it? I know that I have been granted grace and its a gift I do not take lightly. A person can't get from where i was (trapped in a selfish and self centered delusion)to where I am now, with out a Kind And very powerful loving GOD. I stand a free man from a seemingly hopeless state of mind of body. GOD has restored me to sanity.
